Confined within the walls of the Belgian Brewers Museum, shielded from the tourists and the sun on the Grand Place, we had no idea what we would discover an hour later…

We were getting ready to film an American band, hitherto unknown.  Indeed, they were coming to Europe for the first time and thus also to Brussels… they marveled at the Grand Place and then, curious as they were, they arrived in the pub of the Maison des Brasseurs…

While the band got settled in the middle of the room, the tourists were drinking and chatting… we were wondering how we were going to record them…
We then saw them get out a violin, a guitar, a second violin… they started playing and there was silence all over… The soft and fragile voice of Jordan Lee, accompanied wonderfully by strings, mystified all those around, including us…

It’s a genuine mini-concert that the Americans offered us that day, in a very simple fashion.  We were laughing, one was having beers, Belgian, of course.
We are very, very happy that we discovered this band and that we were able to film them in this private place, so close to the musicians.

We can only encourage you to buy their album Mutual Benefit: « Love’s Crushing Diamond » and to look out for their next visit in your neighborhood!
We’ll be there, that’s for sure!
