The weather was nice over Bruxelles la belle so we were fortunate: our friend Vianney was with us, a guitar in his hand, to offer us two songs from his album “Idées blanches.”

No way that we would lock ourselves up while the sun was out, so we decided to ‘get high’ and offer Vianney one of the best views of Brussels … We climbed to the top of the  Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula! We will not speak about the hundreds and hundreds of stairs we climbed or the narrow corridors that we had to go through, but will instead focus on the incredible panoramic view that we got upon arrival, something you rarely get to see…

He must have played this piece thousands of times before, on TV, on the radio, on the internet and of course in concert … and you have surely heard it again and again … But here, this song takes on a whole other dimension…  Vianney is all alone, the Belgian flag flying behind him, the constant hum of works and cars accompanying him…  Re-discover “Pas là” in this magical context!
