It was enough to listen to her « Aujourd’hui, ma vie c’est d’la marde » to know that we were going to spend a great time in her company! Lisa LeBlanc is THE Canadian reveletion of the past few years…

In 2012, at barely 22 years of age, she released her first album which rapidly made it to the top of the Itunes sales… That’s when she decides to cross the Atlantic, wreaking havoc in France where she won the France Inter/Télérama prize for first francophone album and the Rapsat-Lelièvre prize at the Francofolies de Spa…

We met her a few hours before her Brussels concert at the Botanique… We had found a beautiful antiques shop close to the Place du Jeu de Balle but she didn’t wait to get there to play her music! It’s in the Tramway that, accompanied by her banjo and her two musicians, she sang « Cerveau Ramolli » trying very hard not to fall at every bend!  Then, arriving in the Marolles neighborhood she decided to continue her itinerant concert with « J’pas un Cowboy »…

Lisa LeBlanc is funny and natural… Our voyage ended in the antiques shop in the Marolles where she played two covers…

We highly recommend that you watch out for her next concerts because you won’t be bored for a second!
